Red Fort Etch A Sketch

$250.00

I make one-of-a-kind, completely permanent works of art on an Etch A Sketch.

This Etch A Sketch drawing depicts the Red Fort, a gorgeous palatial structure in Old Delhi, India. This rendition is based on a reference photo I took from my trip to India in 2016. This was a very special trip for me. The day after I quit my job and made the decision to become a full-time freelance artist, I received an email from a travel company that was interested in sending me on a trip to a different country in exchange for chronicling my journey on an Etch A Sketch. With a resounding yes, I had barely enough time to file my travel visa before I was on a plane to India.

Upon my return home, I used photos from my trip to chronicle my experiences using an Etch A Sketch - one rendition for each day I spent in India. This was one of the first renditions of the series and took around 10 hours to create. This was rendered during a landmark moment in my life, when I was first beginning my career as a full-time Etch A Sketch artist. It marked the beginning of my adventures to come and I am immensely proud of the series as a whole.
